Welcome to the American Legion

Post 335

Sylvester, Georgia

Proudly Known as

"The Biggest Little Post in Georgia"

Chartered on July 1, 2014, Post 335 has stood as a beacon of service and fellowship in Sylvester and Worth County. From our earliest days, we’ve welcomed veterans from every branch of the United States Armed Forces—and today, we continue that tradition by embracing all active-duty service members and military personnel who serve our nation with honor.

Joining Post 335 is more than membership—it’s a continuation of service to God, Country, and Community. Our mission is rooted in the enduring principles of the American Legion Preamble, which guides our commitment to peace, unity, and the strength of our nation.

Our Preamble

For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes:

•    To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America
•    To maintain law and order
•    To foster and perpetuate a one hundred percent Americanism
•    To preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in All Wars
•    To inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the community, state, and nation
•    To combat the autocracy of both the classes and the masses
•    To make right the master of might
•    To promote peace and goodwill on earth
•    To safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of justice, freedom, and democracy
